ebay does my box in

i just need a moan really as i am a fully verified member of paypal and have sold a few things in the past all with positive feedback!!! last time i sold some items and 2 of my transactions the money was put on hold by paypal to protect the buyer!!! the only problem last time was i was told to post the item although my money was on hold and the money is released either when i recieve positive feedback or 21 days later, luckily for some reason i couldnt post the item straight away and 3 days later i get an email saying DONT post this item as basically the buyer is fraudulaent!!! i thought thank f*ck i never sent the item, however this time i sell these items so i can buy some baby stuff and i have it all worked outas to what the money will go on. tonight the item is sold for nearly £400 and lo and behold the money is again put on hold and i am told to post the item!!! i am outraged by this!!! why should i be sending out a £400 item when i have not received the money yet again!!! and why on earth did i verify my account when everything ebay and paypal do just protects the bloody buyer!!!! so once again im facing the same dilemma and at least 21 days till recieve my money!!! sorry to rant on guys just so annoyed!!! has anyone else experienced this??

I have experienced similar, but when I have had money that would take a while clearing, like an E-cheque (they take the biscuit!), I was told NOT to send the item until it went through. So why they are telling you to even though the money is on hold and the person has obviously paid I don't get.

How annoying for you. And if the buyer is genuine I would email them and explain that you are not posting the item until you have money for it. It is perfect logic NOT to and they should not mind. x

Could you request the buyer pays by a different method as you're having problems with your Paypal account? I mean, personally I'd probably try and say "I'm not posting until the money's cleared..." But if the buyer then says "I've still paid though, so the item is mine" it's going to get complicated.

That really doesn't sound right. I've never had issues like that with Paypal... So far at least..

xxx

I sold something recently and my money was put on hold until I got positive feedback. I could see the money in my paypal account just couldnt transfer it. Fucking pain in the arse. It was for around £60 I think
