speaking of food...just wondering if yall have alot of "fast food" in the UK. There's a Mc Donald's, Jack in the Box, Taco Bell, or Wendy's on every corner it seems like here. Oh yeah...We also have a million Mexican restaurants here too...That's why Texans are fat asses...LOL Not Kidding..I think Houston ranked number one fattest city in the nation not too long ago. There are so many cultures here and we love to try ALL types of food!

SCHEZUAN STIR-FRY

1 lb. boneless pork, beef, or chicken
1 lg. bell pepper
1/2 c. bamboo shoots
1 lg. carrot
1 clove garlic, minced
4 oz. schezuan sauce
1 oz. cooking wine (white/red)
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 med. onion
1/2 c. sliced water chestnuts
1 c. bean sprouts
1 stalk celery
3 oz. soy sauce
1 oz. lemon juice
2 oz. schezuan oil or sesame oil
1 tbsp. cayenne pepper
1 c. snow peas

Cut meat into thin strips, 1 1/2 to 2 inches long, place in bowl. Mix soy sauce, schezuan sauce, juice, wine, oil, and spices in separate container and pour over meat. Soak meat 1 1/2 to 3 hours at room temperature.

While meat is soaking, cut vegetables into bite-size strips. Preheat a large skillet, Dutch oven or wok to 350 degrees. Drain meat and save liquid. Place meat in skillet and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, add vegetables. Stir fry an additional minute. Add liquid and stir fry until liquid is rendered down. Serve with steamed rice.

For me, it starts with crab and sweetcorn soup, followed by king prawns in rice paper- Then as a main dinner I like chicken fried rice with BBQ sauce, plus a few chicken skewers, spare ribs and prawn crackers.
I dont like sweet and sour, that stuff is rancid.

Mmm, This is difficult - I worked in a Chinese a few years ago so love it all!

Either Hot & Sour Soup or Crab & Sweetcorn

Then

Spring Onion Pancakes

Then

Crispy Duck with Pancakes etc

Then

Crispy Chilli Beef (has to be v.crispy or it goes back!)
Chicken Yellow bean & Cashew nuts
Vermachelli Singapore Style (With out the Prawns Thankyou!)
Egg Fried Rice

Thats my Ideal banquet although I've never been able to order all in one visit - I'd have to starve myself for a week!

Mmmm, yum yum!
