Valentines day... help!!! pls

Hi everyone.... wonder if you can give me some ideas please!!!

on the 8th Feb is my partner and I first year anniversary since we met. he has already told me he is taking me out for a meal. I also expect we might be getting engaged that night, as he told me we would be this year, and plan to set a wedding date after we come back from hols in May. And just by a few things he said I think that will be the day.

So moving on to valentines day, as he payin for meal on the 8th, I thought I would do something for us on valentines.... but I dont know what!!!! I dont have much cash, but I want it to be memorable. I also want it to be a suprise, and as valentines is on a saturday, and he will be at home, I want it so, he dont have a clue. so I cant be preping for it on the day.

So has anybody got any ideas for me, I really am useless at this kind of stuff.

Why don't you cook a romantic meal for him...make some (alcohol free) cocktails...meals that you can share? I did that for our first valentines...although we did have alcohol! lol. It was really nice...

Thanks for the idea... but I want something I can suprise him with, valentines is on a sat this year, so he will be home all day, so I want something, that dont need preping or something that can be prepered on the friday. So obviously I cant serve a meal that was cooked on friday, lol.
