ok i'll start by saying my sister does not look 12 no way sometimes she actually looks older than me (im 21!!!) shes taller than me and definatly has a "womans" body

but anyway theres a boy that she met at Cadets whos shes friends with who 17! he texts her all the time she talks to him on line the other day she asked my mum if she could go to town to meet him, mum of course said no! any way she stayed at mine the ther day so me beeing very naughty and i know shouldnt have but shes my little sister and i worry about her because shes beautiful! i read her text messages! and basicly hes been texting her calling her "babe" "sexy" telling her "i love you" loads of "xxxx" on the end of the texts, the texts shes been sending him arnt THAT bad still lots of kisses and wat not but nothing seedy like the ones hes been sending her, anyway i told my mum but i told her not to tell her that id read her texts,

so anyway my mums said to her shes not to text him or talk to him online anymore she said ok she wont talk to him anymore but im not convinced every time id asked her about him she lied so whats to say shes not lieing now?

i dont know what to do i worry about her so much shes gorgous but soooo young, its not just 17 year old boys eather iv seen much older men eyeing her up but they dont know shes 12 this guy does!!!! i wanna hurrrrttt him!

anyway just to prove im not over exagurating (sp?) because shes my sister shes the one in the black top im the one in the blueee

Ahhh its a horrible situation to be in. My 14 year old cousin (we're like sisters, I used to live with her mam) is exactly the same, she has an 18 year old sniffing about. My aunty is at her wits end with her coz banning her from seeing him made her go out and do it behind her back and my aunty would at least rather know.

Oh no! Naughty Kayla. Dunno what to advise tho, coz she will do it anyway. She's at that age!

oh, she does look much older. I would get this guys number and ring or message him to warn him off. Say shes 12, he might not know, she could have lied. And that if he goes any where near her you will call the police.

Its a toughy, but, I think I'd have to be cruel to be kind and try and get a hold of the 'lad' in questions number and tell him how old she really is!

You don't have to say who you are or anything but just tell him the truth! I'm sure he'll see sense when he knows her real age!!

Him being that much older he may want a little more...sorry!!

I just asked my OH how old he thinks she is (not telling him her real age) and he said 17! He was shocked that she's 12!

I remember being twelve....all loved up with the idea of having an older boyfriend, one with a car and a job so could take me out etc. And i had my fair share of older boyfriends. Most behind my parents backs too. And looking back i put myself into seriously dangerous situations with these guys just so my parents wouldnt find out.
If it was my sister, id be just as protective..but id want her to feel comfy coming to me and talking to me about it.
Im not for one moment saying its right, but im just saying i remember being there.

I justasked my OH how old he thought she was and he said 19. When i said shes twelve..(and this is a quote) "fuck off twelve!!"

At the end of the day even if he is only 17, she is 12 and if anything happened it would be rape on his part, whether she was willing or not. So I agree with another post - I would warn him off with the police -she is after all 12, and that is still a child in the eyes of the law, and anyone with eyes. If a 17 year old was going after ANYONE I knew who was only 12 I would definately threaten them with police. x

She does look a lot older - and I was the same at her age. Ended up getting into an uncomfortable situation with a 16 year old (who knew full well how old I was because I was friends with his sister) and of course I thought he was gorgeous and was flattered but didn't really understand the consequences. Anyway he tried to push himself on me and I was so upset and embarassed and didn't want to tell anyone, ended up telling my Mum 2 years later because he was also friends with my cousin and I didn't want to go to their house when he was there.
Anyway, at least you're there, knowing what 17 years olds are like and knowing she's only 12. I think if he was confronted (because surely if they're in the cadets he does know her age) he could be embarassed into stopping texting/speaking to her like that. She probably won't thank you now, but when she's older she'll understand.
