& living with someone who has done the dishes maybe 5 times tops I got my dishwasher plumbed in that by the way I held on to with my life all that time

I understand your love of the dishwasher. When I moved in with DH, there wasn't space for one. We ended up sticking a 2 storey extension on and doubling the size of the house just because I insisted we had to have one!

I have not quite lived it down yet!

We have a dishwasher and My hubby still doesnt know how to put a dish in the dam thing. Glad you got your dishwasher going hun. Now lets just hope your OH knows how to use it...
