Me and Oh (will be DH) are going for a weekend away in November for OH Birthday, we are going to go Saturday morning and want to come back Sunday day some time.

What we want to know is, we want to go out for a meal and a few drinks for his birthday we have had a look but without knowing personal we don't know which place is better to go for a nice meal and a few drinks.

if anyone knows that would be brilliant.

are they really easy to find say if you walk in to the town centre??

stations just of the main street everythings about 5 min walk bars and restaurants

Bristol is a bit naff, tend to have a bit of trouble there.

Have you thought about Cheltenham (lovely!) or drive a bit farther and go to Bath (also gorgeous)?

Don't know Bristol and ages since I went to Cardiff, but it was a good night out then. I was going to say Bath too... lovely there and stuff to do during the day.

Whats wrong with Bristol!!! I love it here .. wouldnt move anywhere else
