last night at 11.30 i was snoozing away as oh was and i woke up to osmeone hammering on the door it scared the crap out of me it was that loud

it was even making Riley stir it was that loud and his bedrooms on the back!

OH went down and it was paramedics they had got the wrong name and address she just stormed off not a single sorry nothing then went and sat in the car for a while (well the paramedic 4x4 thing) i couldnt belive it! it took me ages to get back sleep

OMG babe I would have gone mental at them how can they get the wrong address stupid cow and she didnt even say sorry well I would have taken her numberplate and complained to the paramedic service just for her attitude babes hope your ok bless ya x

Working in a hospital I've discovered A LOT of ambulance workers have attitude problems. They seem to take up a holier than thou type mentality :\ Don't know why.

Believe it or not pretty much the exactly the same thing happened to us a few years back. Sleeping away and heard a knocking, wasn't sure what it exactly was as we were both still half asleep (was about 6am.) Then a few mins later a loud banging on our bedroom window (which is round the other side of the house) and OH got up to discover a policeman looking in at us. Went to the front door and they said "Are you Lusi Fa'aioh?" (Pacific Islander name, we are NZ Europeans.) Managed not to reply sarcastically with "No, do we look like Pacific Islanders to you?" Instead said "no, I think he lives upstairs from us." He had gotten behind in repayments or something and were there to impound his car. But there was no apology for waking us up and scaring us (ok, just me!) half to death, they just said "ok" and went upstairs. A simple sorry for disturbing you would suffice..

Maybe they just didn't think if it was a true emergency its a bit screwy they have the wrong address. Lets hope they got to the person who needed the service!

a few weeks ago I was woken up by hammering on my door. Was literally 5.30am. Looked out the window and it was a skip.. I didnt go down and answer the door cuz I was hardly dressed. Luckily they went away and didnt drop it outside my house LoL. They musta realised they had the wrong address. cheeky buggers!
