We are having this massive snow storm here and there are several power outages. I was sitting at my computer on bnb writing a thread when I heard people going on in the hallway about there being no power. Meanwhile Im sitting here with power on thinking they all must be nuts. Went out to the hallway and sure enough there was no power
Some apartments had their fridge still working...others had absolutly nothing. Our smokealarms are wired into the walls so when the power went out everyones smokealarms were chirping whose power had gone out. I told a few of them that they were welcome to come to my place if they wanted as weirdly enough I still had power. One of them has a son so I felt kinda bad he was going to be playing in the dark. I then came in and decided to make supper as I hadnt really eaten today and realized I had no power in my kitchen. Everything in the kitchen was shut off as well as the diningroom but the rest of the apartment was lit! Weirddd. They ended up all coming over and I finally got to meet my neighbors lol but still havent had supper lol and its 11pm so now Im off to cook my supper and pray that my hubby makes it home safe as he hasnt put on his winter tires yet!! Sorry it was random but it was pretty cool so had to share with someone. xx
