Noooooooooooooooooooo I'm so upset!! Be interesting to see if the ratings drop any on Saturday.

John’s just released a statement explaining his decision to quit. “The trouble is that there is now a real danger that I might win the competition. Even for me that would be a joke too far,” he says. BBC One controller Jay Hunt adds "We are very sad to see him go."

bugger... i loved his marching.. ahem i mean dancing.. but he was lovely and a good sport.. now who are the judges going to pick on
