I'm Currently Feeling:  | Excellent and Awful news!
SO I got amazing news yesterday regarding the results of my mom's biopsy - it is NOT cancer. She will have to go back every 3 months to get an ultrasound and biopsy on her thyroid, and surgery will most likely be in her future, but the main thing is it is benign! Our prayers have been answered.
I came in to work this morning, still happy from my good news, only to find out that one of my coworkers for the last 8 years suffered a severe heart attack and stroke last night and is currently in surgery to reduce the bleeding on her brain! The Dr only is giving her a 10 percent chance of making it!!  |
