i've always said they would have to knock me out to remove any teeth, I had a bad expereience when i was about 8, as i had to have i think 6 teeth removed, i went to a specialist, and was waiting with my mum then they came through and took me off my mum and wouldnt let her come in to the room woth me, hense i was crying a screaming, mum was crying. they took me in to the room and told me to lay down, then they put the gas mask over my face and i completely freaked out, and they had to hold me down whilst they were saying 'think of rainbows' YEah Right!!! i woke up over the sink with blood comingout of my mouth and they sent me home before i could even walk properly. so i really dont like dentists fortunatley i have found a good one, and i refuse to change dentists, which meant going private.
but i live in fear of having any injections or teeth removed.

I also have had a bad experience with dentists from when i was younger. Avoided going for years and ended up paying for it with 8 fillings. Been up in Scotland now for 3 and a half years and i still havent registered with a new dentist.

I feel your pain Jase, it takes me several injections to feel the affects too.

OUCH!!!!! I had the same thing when I had a wisdom tooth removed , and hence I still have the other 3 - I refuse to let anyone anywhere near them!

I think I may have a bad reaction to aneasthetics though as my spinal block wore off halfway through them stitching me up after my c section!!!
