I have had such a day today, Amy is sooo poorly.

She is bringing back everything she drinks if she swallows any, practically as soon as she swallows it come right back and because of that she hasn't had a wee all day, she has a temp of 39.1 which doesn't seem to be coming down much and she is so lathargic. but had the really bad shakes

I have had her at the docs and he says as long as she is putting fluid in her mouth then she will be fine!
HELLOOOO- she isn't swallowing it then he said cos her mouth isn't dry then its nothing to worry about! she had just been sick while waiting to be seen.

So guess what the diagnosis was........................Yep a fu**in viral infection Why is everything a viral infection??!!

I thought that myself and was going to take her in a little while as she is asleep, i always thought that them not urinating is quite serious.

id perhaps phone nhs 24 before going to a+e hun

Hi hun, i know we are chatting at the mo but thought id post here aswell, give nhs direct a ring if her temp dosent come down, and if you get really worried then go straight to A&E.

Blimey if your dying they would tell you to come back the next day these days.

I hope she picks up soon I think if I was concerned I'd ignore the GP & head for A&E ... follow your own heart.
