Honey I suckle the kids?

Did anyone watch this last night??
I know this could turn into a massive argument/debate... thats not really what i want!

I would like to know what you thought of the programme.
And what you do to be an "attached parent"

I agree with that!
The woman who didn't use nappies with the babies, they had to guess when they needed to go!!
With the poop on the floor! yuck!

I couldn't do that - but i'm a free choice person....

The sex with baby in the bed is wrong!!!

There was a couple on last night that said they get asked how they do it lots and they said "we don't - we find other places"

I intend on boobyfeeding but not until they're 6 or something, ouch teeth!! haha!!!

Ok I will share my view, here's MY view:

I bottle feed Rebecca, only because bf was agony, I knew I had to stop when I got blisters on my nips and they were bleeding. I haven't looked back, Rebecca has not suffered in any way thru being on the bottle. She is infact a thriving little girl who is on the 95th centile height and weight.

That programme, well they are extremists, but parts of it made me sick, like bf a 5 year old, there is no need, it holds no nutritional value to them at tht age. I would never of BF Rebecca any longer than 9-12 months, a personal choice.

As for humping whilst ur buba is in bed, minging, I feel bad when Rebecca is sleeping in her cot in my room!

Attachment Parenting-again positives and negatives, surely these children aren't being taught independence and will grow up reliant on their parents? Just a view.....

Well done for trying boobyfeeding!
I will be trying, but like you say it has no nutritional value past then!

And how can they be independant when they're permanently attached to their mum & dad?

I want to bf, and i intend on using re-usable nappies & wipes... and having a mai tai.

I won't be the extremes that they showed last night... the pooping on the floor was just ewww!

I think some parts of AP is good to do like carrying you baby, but not all the time. Id still like to use the pram for shopping lol.

Im not sure about breast feeding, i dont know if i would really feel comfortable doing it even in my own home. I will see how i feel at the time when i need to decide but i think i will likely be going towards formula feeding (please dont shoot me lol)
