I'm writing a letter to virgin media asking for a partial refund on loss of services
normally i'd go through customers services but cant be arsed hanging about on hold for ages
this is what i wrote
Dear Sir/Madam
My tv service was cut off due to a technical fault with my box, the socket on the the adaptor snapped off, a common problem with all pace boxes as i was informed by the engineer.
As I was without tv between the dates of 26th of April and the 1st of May I feel that a partial refund is in order.

i could have been nasty but i feel the nice approach sometimes works better
if they keep u on hold for ages and its costs you like £10 you just send you phone bill into their head office and they refund it, we had to do this with orange
