Hey, Is he going to be living with you when bubba is born?

He wont have to pay you child maintenence unless he's not helping you with bubba at all and you break up, You just claim as a single mother i guess. the rates are approx: 18.80 CB, 59.15 IS & 60.07 CTC.
you can also claim a 500 quid maternity grant from 26 weeks. Income support should kick in from 2 weeks, get yourself down to the jobcentre as they will know for sure.

I get income support because even though Rich works, he's only here from friday - monday (as he's in london where he works) and they don't class him as living here.

Hi

If you dont live together you can claim income support, (about £110 a week) if you do live together you can get working tax and child tax credit.

Child benefit is about £72 a month.

Working tax credit goes up if you or your OH work more than 30 hours a week, i got about £127 a week when i was working 30 hours.
You also get free prescriptions.

He will not have to pay for the baby if you arent together anymore unless you want him too.

I had lots of trouble with my ex (dad of my little girl) he was violent to me etc..i had to legally claim money from him or they said they would stop me getting any money! I had to prove he was a threat to me so they wouldnt claim it! We dont have abything to do with him!
Luckly they agreed with me!!

Now the CSA has changed and you dont legally have to claim money from him unless you want to they cant make you anymore!!

Sorry this is long..ive had alot of experience with it!! Hope this helps you!!
