Career help

Do any of you know which websites do those questionnaires which show you what careers would suit your personality?

I really want to do one as I keep changing my mind about what I want to do in the long-run and I'd like to have something I can stick to, something that I will really enjoy doing.

Unfortently no matter what website you use. your career choice is yours. And your the final one that needs to pick what you wanna do.

You've just gotta think what you enjoy doing. Are you good at maths, english, art, photography etc. Do you enjoy being outside or inside. Does the standard 9-5 hours look good to you or would you prefer working nights or freelance.

I know these are only basic questions but start with the basics then move on to the next level, like what careers fit into these etc. XxxX

There is a Connexions programme called Path Finder. I'm not sure if you can actually do it at home on the internet but i did it in the Connexions office the other day and thought it was quite good!

prospects.ac.uk is a good one. It asks you loads of questions at first and although it is aimed at uni students the questions aren't that degree specific i don't think. It has really in depth profiles for all the different jobs and tells you the requirements etc

Ah hem! I thought you wanted to be a midwife!! Lies I tell you!!!

Haha, I know it's hard to decide these things, specially as we're only 18!! I think the thing u need to do is carry on with what your doing atm esp as ur ttc and the last thing u need is the stress of trying for another job, then see how you feel when you've had a baby, as a lot of peopl have said that they changed their minds once children we're involved, be that change your area of work or stop work or cut down to part time etc.
