Has anyone ever had anything delivered from Ikea? Normally, I go to the store, buy what I want/need, then load it and drive home. But, we need wardrobes, chests of drawers, desks, and much more. Far too much for my 'ickle Golf to hold. So, me and Stu are off there next week to choose everything, and are going to pay for delivery home.

But, what I need to know is, will they delay the delivery? I only know one person who has done this, and the Ikea van beat her home!!!

We aren't getting carpets fitted until the 12th, but wanted to go Ikea on the 10th or 11th and then get them to deliver on the 13th.

Anyone know if they will do this?

I have had a delivery twice in the past 2 months when we moved.

We had to pay for delivery but it depends where you live (miles away from store) that will determin charge and time.

Found them good TBH and i could specify a time that suited me and they worked it great!
