Am i one of the only people that couldn't get on with GHD, I have naturallt Thick and curly (frizzy style) hair and the only straightners that i can get to work are the Remington Straight to Dry Wide plate version.

My last pair i got for my birthday cost about £35 off ebay and they have all the digital variable speed stuff on em, not that i use it it's 230 degrees and lock

hmm I doubt you have over there what I use. It's a remington wet 2 straight
It works PERFECT in my hair and my hair is quite curly and wavy. I can use it on my hair when it's damp and it turns out just great. It does get VERY hot so I have to use a brush with it.

oops just saw u bought one hope it works good for you

I know you've already brought some but thought I'd say:

My hairdresser reconmended a make [forgot name] which is from the makers of GHD's, they're just as good but a fraction cheaper.

Sorry, I'm no help really with my cryptic clues!!

Ghds all the way! Only ones that have ever worked on my hair and keep it straight longer than an hour!! Iv got the wide plates and the smaller ones but the wide ones work better on my hair because is very thick and curly. Takes me no time at all to straighten it. Defo worth the price tag, for me anyway!
