This isn't strictly true. Well especially not in the way that they feed off their energy. All Spirits are attracted to certain energy wave lengths, and some people cans see spirit at a certain wavelength and some can't. As we grow older our perceptions on the world change and we if you like, see less wavelengths that spirit are open to. Children are very open to seeing spirit and you'll find a lot of imaginary friends are usually spirits, but as we grow older we're taught that these things are not real, and therefore shut down to it. But spirits are indeed drawn to you at times of a lot of activity, aka when there's a new birth, a passing, puberty, anniversaries etc etc.

children are indeed more open to it babes, like I said above. I've seen spirit since being a child but that's because it was always accepted in my family and I was never told it was imaginary if that makes sense. My nephew when he was two was always talking to an elder gentleman who used to visit him, he'd put out his arms and go "hello... helloooo". Just someone coming to look after him is all

Another example that really can't be explained away is my philosophy teacher from college had a 3 year old who started talking about a man in his bedroom, who wanted to hurt the woman with her baby. The woman's baby had "pox". The children at his nursery had chicken pocks so you assumed he meant this and asked, "Do you mean chicken pox?" and he said, "no THE pox!" (seems an odd thing for a toddler to say??) so anyway, she asked more about him and he gave a name (I don't remember what - I think it was German) and said he was supposed to look after the ladies and her baby but he wanted to hurt them and she was very scared. So anyway, Sarah (my teacher at the time) had actually joked when she moved in (because the property was new-built), "At least we won't have any ghosts!" ... but she looked it up on the net, and apparently her house was built on the site of the old small pox hospital! And a doctor who used to work there, I forgoet his name but it was the name her little boy had given her, had been hung because it turned out he had been murdering the patients!!

Wow a lot of evidence there hun, and something that can't just be explained away. It's good to find evidence that you know can't have been implanted into someones mind if that makes sense. He's too young to have got that information himself.

Ohh forgot to say, also my friend very sadly lost her baby to a fire when he was just one year old, and after the funeral, we were walking across the road the a pub and she felt drawn to pick up a piece of paper (she doesn't know why?!) and when she unfolded it it was just a scrappy receipt / bit of paper that said "You were the best mum, love you, see you soon xxx". We weren't at a graveyard or anything like that to explain it could have been a note to somebody else, either because we buried him in a private woods that belonged to a friend of hers I don't think we can prove they exist it's just a case of whether you believe in it or not - There's certainly more evidence for their existence than against, though!

Electrical items are the easiest things for spirit to mess with. When my mum had an operation last year to remove cancer she was on high dependency and her machine kept going off, the thing is, it was still going off after being disconnected from the mains and all power sorces and half taken apart lol. Haha, Spirit find electrical items the easiest to interfear with hun x

Smells come through a lot too hun, people are a lot more willing and a lot less scared to accept smells than they would accept straight off seeing spirit. Most people it would scare them too much, but a smell they can associate with someone, brings the comfort they need and is a lot less scary for most people. Also, yup, they like to hide things from us a lot
I remember when I was growing up my mums OH lived 40 mins away by car.. I'd leave stuff on my bed, when he hadn't even been over or mum to his, and it's turn up in his front room the day after. Doesn't help that both he and my mother are physical mediums too lol, so this kind of thing happened a lot.

See footsteps hun can be different than actually being a spirit. It's a bit hard to explain sometimes but a ghost and a spirit are two entirely different things. A ghost is like a glitch in time, like listening to a tape recording or watching a video, you can see it and hear it.. but you can't interact with it? Usually you find when people say they hear the same noise at the same time ever night that it's a ghost rather than a spirit. But a spirit you can see and hear and interact with too, so basically you could hold a coversation with a spirit, but a ghost would look straight through you.

Lol I think this is where we differ a bit see, because I've grown up with spiritualism I've always been aware of spirit and was seeing spirit from a young age, so seeing spirit never really scared me, the only time it has is when there's rescue work that's needed doing but thats a whole other topic lol. See when we sit for physical work, we sit in controlled conditions with extremely experienced mediums and the results you get are very physical and would scare a lot of people, I think it's having the trust that spirit wont hurt us and it's only human fear that makes us scared that helps a lot. eing in a situation where drums are banged, you can hear music from nowhere, tables tilt and move around the room, there are orbs and spirits all around you.. it's great great evidence, but unless you have the faith to believe to get such results, it's not going to be to such a degree.

My dads house is haunted by an old man but he is frendly so dont mind him but for a while they had poltergeist activity where things were getting thrown around etc...that was a bit frightening but more because when a game of monopoly lying on the floor suddenly errupts into the air you do tend to crap your pants

Lol I have such images in my mind now, it's not good lol. Myself along with the other mediums at my church are the ones who go out to peoples houses when they are having such problems with spirits. All it usually is is either a friendly spirit who's not getting the attention they want, or a spirit in need of a bit of guidence or help. If anyone is having problems like this it's obviously a very scary thing for people who don't have any experiece and the best thing they could do is to contact their local spiritualist church and ask them to help.

Indeed hun quite a lot of things could be peoples imaginations running away with them, so the first thing we always do is check for a physical explaination. Like if there's a cold sport or a hot spot look for a physical cause, a draughty window or a radiator. Or if there's strange noises, could it be the heating system or dodgy electricals. Most of the time when we are called out it is usually down to people having their awareness open to spirit and not knowing how to close down properly

Electronic voice phenomena is cool, and good evidence too, but a bit of a long way around communicating with spirit when you can just have a conversation with them if that makes sense. Also we find a lot when people try to record seances or even private sittings spirit have other ideas and the tape can be completely wiped lol. If they don't want to do it, they wont lol.
