I was in the toilet at work....i bought a pack of 2, as i was 2 weeks late which wasnt uncommon but liked to test each month this happened to be on the safe side. I normally just kept the second test for if i was ever late again. I wasnt expecting to be as was on the pill. But forgot that over x-mas i had gladulafever and was on meds, which of course cancelled out me pill So took the test went out washed me hands went back to throw it in the bin and it was BFP .....so took the next test but this time sat gripping it so tight.... and it was BFP AGAIN....so nipped out to chemist and bought 4 more. And drank heaps of water etc so i needed a pee. Done all 4 and all BFP!! So 6 tests and £40 later i decided it was postive.

First person i rang was doctors and booked an appointment. Then went back into me office and sat in a day dream till 7pm then went home. OH got in from work and i threw all 6 tests at him....lol when i look back it was quite funny......he looked at them and asked what they were because we werent TTC it was a big shock!! So after i told him.....and left him in shock i drove round to me parents. Told me mum and dad who were OVER the moon! and me mum started crying and rang everyone....even tho it was early she couldnt contain it.... then me dad started crying (big baby) saying how happy he was!! So i rang me sis in uni and told her.....she was in shock lol. Sensible one!!

Then went back to me house where i found OH still in shock. Then we hugged each other and sat all night chatting And now after the shock had past and discussed all our options we are so so so so happy!! and cannot wait for baba!!

Oh so glamourous we are!!!
I was in the toilet at Asda - same as Ema, not ttc but illness ruined the effect of my pill. What a shocker!

Bought them, could not wait so did them in the loo after buying them in the supermarket. Both came back positive. Went home and told OH who asked "how did that happen??" duh!!!!

I was the one who was adament I was NEVER having children so it was a huge shock to everyone, especially my mum, who burst into tears when I told her.

I was in the toilet in Sainsburys !!
I was on my way to a drunken girly night out and i had been feeling sick so i thought id just double check !! And there it was !!

I didnt think i just picked up the phone and called my oh who was at work and blurted it out , he just said ok thats fine see you in the morning !!

Once we saw each other it was fantastic !!

Hubby and i went out to tescos to get some digis. Came home and peed in a cup (tmi sorry) sat the test on the sofa between us. The result came up immediately. We were so shocked especially after the miscarriage a few weeks before.

I was in my bathroom... was convinced there was no way I could be pregnant - I'd had the depo shot like 8 weeks before, but OH was convinced I was because I had a lot of symptoms. So I took a test that I'd had in the bathroom cabinet from ages ago.. and it said negative. Only after taking it did I look at the packaging and see that it had expired quite a while ago :doh: Then OH decides to tell me 'oh I bought one on the way home from work, I forgot' :doh:! So had to wait til I needed to pee again, took that one.. and positive! Not at all expected since i was on contraception but we were overjoyed, we had decided we were going to start TTC soon anyway, so it just saved us a wait!

(and not to scare anyone whos on the depo shot - Im sure it is very effective, honestly, lol. We must have conceived literaly a day or two before I got the shot. They do a pregnancy test before giving it you , mine was neg. so I must have not been far enough for it to show positive)

O'Neills pub toliet....classy!!

I was three weeks pas my period....kept getting BFN so doc said to try every week until my next period was due....done one of their tests in the morning before work and i thought i saw a faint line....so left a note for OH saying i think there is a faint line....then at lunchtime i went and bought a digi test and hey presto it said "pregnant"....then texted OH saying it was positive....didnt hear anything from him so started panicking...called him and he just said "Im not happy but im not upset" then when i got home he was just alughing at me and then said that he just wouldnt have picked this exact moment for me to be pregnant but he was ok....then he was going out and i was in the bath and he said "bye you two" and gave me a kiss and kissed my belly and then i knew he was ok!!

I was at home when I tested. It was Valentine's Day and OH had bought me a gift bag with a bunch of goodies in it so as I was pulling out the last gift I realised it was a pregnancy test. He was convinced I was pregnant, I on the other hand was convinced I had the flu. I tested just to shut him up and it turned out to be positive. He was sooo excited, as was I but totally shocked too. After that I called my mum and all she said was "oh my god...i need to go to the bar to have a drink...I'll call you later." When she finally called back a few hours later she was happy.

I was at home in my bathroom, but i so wasent expecting it to be possative, so when the line appeared, at first i was like, oh shit!!!, then i was like, oh yes!!!.
Hubby came home form work, but his brother was coming round the help set up his 360, so i waited.
Anyhow, i couldent think of how to tell him, so when we went to bed, after being lay there for a while, i thought i dont know how to tell him, so i just said, i have something i need to tell you, then went quiet, he said is what i think it is, i said i think so, he said say, so i just blurted out, im pregnant love.
He said he couldent take it and we would talk about it in the morning.

The morning came and his first comment when i walked down was, well its there, and theres nothing we can do about it.

Hes alot better about it now, i often wake up in the morning and hes just lay there with his hand on my belly, lol.

In the hospital having a scan of my overies coz they thought i had a growth of some sort. Turned out i was 13 weeks pregnant!!!!!!
