Id been testing for a few days with faints lines but i didnt beleive them. i got the BFP that i believed whilst away on a trip to Wobbles house in wales

Nothing like showing your test to forum peeps in person lol!

ahhhhh these stories are lovely.

I did a test 4 days after my period was due. . .we didnt want to get our hopes up that month!! I had a 'feeling' so bought a test after I finished work at 4. Then when it turned positive I had a 2-hour wait for my OH to get home!!!!

I was dancing round the bathroom by myelf

I wrapped up the test with a bib saying "I love my Daddy" and gave it to OH when he got home. His face was a picture when he opened it and I was grinning from ear to ear.

First thing he said?? "OHMYGOD IS IT YOURS??" pmsl

Adam kinda told me lol I was on the pill and had just been on holiday to Thailand, while I was away I was really sick. The hotel arranged for me to go to the hospital and the doc there prescribed me some pills (not really sure what they were) I guess that with the sickness affected my pill. When I got home Adam mentioned that I was late (I didn't even realise) I put it down to being ill etc but he kept saying are you pregnant, but I kinda laughed it off.

Went to Tesco on my lunch break at work and bought a test to prove him wrong lol took it in the loos at work and ended up with

straight away!

I text my best mate who just found out she was pregnant and called Adam. Because I was at work and in shock I tried to talk in code lol big mistake. I said 'I've just done a test' his reply 'oh, ok did you pass?' lol me 'No you don't understand I just went to Tesco and now I've taken a test! Its positive!' Adam thought I was calling to tell him I'd done a test at work!

Work sent me home cos I was all over the place, and I took Adam to Tesco to get a clearblue digital and took it again at my mums, another

we couldn't believe it, I kept thinking the tests are wrong! It wasn't until I went to the doc the next morning that I believed it. Although we weren't trying we'd talked about having children in the future and decided that it was meant to be.

First was in my work break, and i popped down to waitrose. it came up bfp obviously so i went home and went to asda and retested in their toilets two more times. bfpx2. I texted my bf a mms of the test then went to the brooke clinic to be tested AGAIN. Ha.

Hmmmm... i was slightly boring was just at home had been feeling weird for ages so took one and nearly died. Was also on the pill and not trying at all

went through to see OH who was about to leave to go back to uni and just burst into laughter...he did NOT see the funny side of it and kept telling me to shut up and couldnt really understand why i was laughing. I cannot say that he was pleased to begin with at all, but the next day (after major wars) we decided we both wanted to have a baby and now we couldnt be happier, i cannot imagine not having a baby now

I cannot wait its so exiting

I tested a few days before xmas 06 and got a BFN, then on xmas night me & OH were watching telly and I had just opened a box off sea shells choc's, I instantly knew something was wrong with me cos I couldn't eat them

I felt a little hot & dizzy and not quite, just assumed I was coming down with a bug (I'm always sick at xmas)

Then the first day back to work 2nd Jan after a complete drinkathon on new years eve. Realised I was about 6 weeks late so thought I'd test just to rule it out. I tested and thought I saw a line, came out of the bathroom in to 'proper' light and there was defo something. I called OH and simply said 'I've just done something and it is' he instanly knew what it was and he was so happy, I could hear the excitement in his voice......he was like 'how am I ment to keep this to myself' I went back to work and couldn't concentrate so went home and done another 2 tests and got

and then went and put a sample in at the docs. I called back the doc's from work and they said it was positive.

We didn't tell anyone for a few weeks and decided to tell our mums together. So we're at MIL's table having a cuppa tea and some shortbread and OH said something like 'We're going to need a babysitter for when we go on our honey moon' they both looked confused and my OH said 'we're having a baby, sam's PG' My MIL choaked on her biccy and my mum (who had just given up smoking said) 'I need a fag!'

The were both made up I think we just caught them off guard.

We wern't trying to get pregnant, lol.

I was feeling really crummy and kinda had a suspicion that I was pregnant. My guy said to not freak out or worry about it until I actually had a missed period. We had gone out for dinner and the smell of the food (meat) was making me sick. I was starting to panic and again he told me to not worry about it, and if I hadn't gotten my period come the next weekend, we'd go get a test.

That weekend we had gone out for breakfast and I couldn't stand the taste of my coffee... tasted off somehow. That's when I knew something was up and was able to wait 2 more days before totally giving rational thought to the wind and called up my best friend to take me to the drug store to buy a test.

I bought the 1st Response test, and came up with a faint pink line in the "You're Pregnant" window. I was confused, because I figured the line should have been darker than that. My Best Friend and I pondered this for awhile then decided to go back to the drug store to get one of those digital tests as it's more direct in how it tells you. Back at the store, we got the Clear Blue Digital Response kind, and I went back to our place.

I took the test, and the instructions said that it'd take 5 mins or so for the reading to take effect. I was pondering going to check Facebook, as I didn't want to stand and stare at the window, lol. I looked down and (it had only been a min or two, max!) and the window said Pregnant. Truth be told, I don't quite remember how I felt at that point. More like shock I guess. I was using NuvaRing as my birth control, so there wasn't any chance of me missing pills or anything like that.

My guy works out of town and doesn't get home until later in the afternoon. I called him as he was driving home and told him how I went out and bought the test, and it was positive. He still ribs me to this day for calling him on his cell while driving on the highway and announcing that I'm pregnant, lol. What can I say? I totally wasn't thinking straight lol.

He said that it wasn't the end of the world, and that he'd be there for me, no matter what. Even though we wern't planning on starting a family this early, we're still rolling with it. We're both terribly excited now, and can't wait to meet our little one!

So that's my story. Not so "romantic" so to speak, but ahhh well.

Oh! As for how I got pregnant? I totally had forgotten that I had taken antibiotics earlier when I was sick. I totally forgot as well that they mess with the effectiveness of birth control. Whoops.

Mines not so exciting.

I had come of the Implanon as it really didn't agree with me and i'd started taking the pill. Obviously something had gone wrong somewhere as my boobs were sore and i was feeling bloated.

I went to the £ shop and bought a pack of 3 test strips, really wasn't convinced i was pregnant so bought the cheapest tests possible. They all came back positive. Put a test in at the Drs and that was also positive. Was so scared of telling OH as i knew he didn't want kids for a long time... he was absolutely over the moon. I was on cloud nine
