My boys stayed in over night, dunno why, precaution at my vets probably.

She's home!

hates me but she is fine, they never gave us a lampshade for her head and she has been at her stitches since she got in so I have to go and pick one up.

The nurse said "oh she probably wont eat anything till tomorrow"
hmmm........ she has just eaten 2 mini chicken breasts and drank loads of water!!

I thought the incision (sp?) would be much bigger! it's tiny and she only has a few stitches

Now I need to try and get her under control! She has jumped on top of my wardrobe already, that can't be good for the stitches!!

awww good to hear she's doing!! Yeah the cats dont realize they have been cut open and just continue doing what they were doing before. My cats were jumping on everything the day they came home. Just keep checking her and making sure it's not open or bleeding or having any fluid leaking out. But i'm sure the vets already explained all of that to you

If she is really worrying the stitches, you can take an old, clean sock, cut off the foot and slide the tube over her torso. She'll hate it, but it will keep her from worrying the stitches. Just make sure it isn't too tight.
