Wow, it's funny how we meet people!

Me and my OH met through our best friends - they met through an internet site. He was hanging out with them alot and being a bit of a third wheel so they decided to set him up with a different one of our friends so had a picnic party sort of - but he liked me instead!

It was very embarrassing - and very obvious when they found out he liked me that they were pushing us together but we met up the next day properly and really clicked.

He was a friend of my brother, but i met him because his best mate started seeing my sister.
We knew each other for a month before anything happened, he was interested in me, but i said no as i was wary (i had my daughter to think of) then when i thought yeah, go on then, he confessed he was seeing someone.
Then a few weeks later, i got a text asking if i was still interested, so we got together. a couple of days after i found out he hadent broke up with his ex, so i made him choose, and he chose me .
8years later, we have nearly 3 more additions to our family (as well as my daughter) we are married and neither of us have ever been happier.

I love a love story, lol.

Well Danny is my boss' son, he came to do some temporary work as an agency Social Worker and after months of fannying around e-mailing each other we went to the works Christmas do and did what people do best at Christmas do's. After coming out of the world's shittest relationship I couldn't believe someone so fantastic would want to be with me. But he did and he does. So along came the bump......

My mother set us up
My mum and DH were doing the same course at collage. There was a collage night out and i was designated taxi driver for my mum and ended up staying out with everyone. They all were trying to push us together it was very embarrassing as DH and i were the only sober ones. We arranged to meet the next day so we could get to know each other. 4 and 1/2 years later we are happily married and enjoying our beautiful son.

I met my OH on a night out with a workmate that he was seeing at the time-I remember the first thing I thought when I saw him was "he's bald!!"

I stayed really good friends with both of them until they split up. Eventually when I was on a night out with his ex she knowingly put my life in danger so I cut all contact with her and havent spoken to her since.

Shortly before they split, I had decided that I liked Alan but would never act on it whilst he was taken. When he left I had no idea where he lived, worked or went out. I didnt even know what his surname was to search for him!

Anyways, on August 18th last year, I got home from work, logged onto Facebook and up popped his picture!!!! I seriously nearly fell off my chair. We got talking, went on our first date a week later and I was absolutly smitten. We moved in together after 4 months of being together and here we are a year later.

I never believed in true love before I met him. . . It sounds well corny but you DO know when you've found "the one".

I dated OH's friend for a short time when we were 16. After we broke up I had a crush on OH and I didn't know that he had a thing for me too... Fast forward 10 years and we ended up back in contact via msn. I was planning on ending my current relationship (had been trying to for a while, timing was bad, family issues and all). His relationship was ending (he wanted to start working closer to home for less $$ but more family time and his -now- ex wife wanted the $$) 4 months later there was an US! and now a Brooklynn too

Started chatting to my OH on another internet forum in 2004 for about six months before we agreed to meet up. I remember being instantly floored by him and it's the closest thing I can think of being 'love at first sight'. I knew as soon as I saw him that he was going to be very important in my life.

We spent the evening together and a week later I knew I was in love. We arranged to meet again, and it was at that point I realised he looked very familiar. I mentioned it, and he agreed with me.

Turns out in 2002 I had been working as a waitress in a pub in North Scotland. He had by chance, been visiting friends and come into the pub for lunch. We both fancied each other but never swapped numbers.

2.5 years later and we meet up again, purely by chance in Somerset.

OH and I met on the internet too! i think we only chatted online for a couple of weeks, then I went off on holiday with my best mate and came back he decided to come up to where I used to stay (far north Scotland) just so we could spend a few days together, there was no talk of being together at this point as I had just split up with someone and he was a total dick to me so I didn't want another realtionship! So it was all a friendly thing to start with but the minute I met him off the train the butterflies started and they have't stopped since!
So nearly 7 years on and here we are!
