I joined a site ages ago and was good friends with one of the owners, he introduced me to another owner, who had split up with his gf, because i had split up with my oh we just clicked as we had been going through the same,

a few weeks later we met up and shortly after I moved to be nearer him and we've been together ever since

We met when I was working in his office over the summer in 1999. He wasn't working with me but was good friends with one of the girls I sat with, and he made me laugh so much...I spent most of the summer thinking how amazing he was, but I don't think he even knew my name

We started chatting and going out for lunch a few weeks later and got together a week after I left. 3 weeks later I had to leave to go back to uni 150 miles away and never thought he'd want to stay with me, but here we are 9 years later x

I met my dp in the local bus stn, he was the security guard there, i drunkingly asked him when the nxt bus to my house was.
I nicked a bit of his kebab when he got on the bus, then i yelled at him for throwing it in the rd when he got off.
The nxt day the driver of the bus txt me (hes a friend) and said he wants ur number and the rest they say his history.

DH is my friends brother, i first met him when i was at the very end of a relationship that turned violent. He was attached but i fancied him instantly but he barely noticed me.
I met him again the following year at a haloween party, i was by this point seeing another guy and he was too drunk to even remember me properly (though he does remember picking me up after i fell at his feet.........sober i might add!!!! )

Then as the relationship started to break down, i turned to my friend for advice and not knowing what to say (and un-beknown to me) asked her brother for advice. He knew his sisters friend Kerry fanced him, but mistook me for someone else!!!! Until ofcourse i went round that afternoon and from then on we got chatting and here we are 2&1/2 years later, maried and trying for our first baby.............................

.............and we couldn't be happier!!!!!!

I was at a house party when i was 16 and got really really drunk....anyway my OH was there he was 19 and we got chatting and just went from there....
5+ years later and things are great

but i always joke he took advantage of a drunk female, lol and i would never have went near him if i wasnt lol XxX

My ex and I moved in together (which in itself was a mistake as the relationship was dysfunctional) and we needed a housemate to share the cost of the cottage we had. My ex had a friend at work who needed a place and he moved in.
Fast forward a few months and after I was in a car crash and ex stayed out clubbing and left our housemate to collect me from hospital (the car I was in flipped over and landed in a ditch) and I realised I needed to make some changes and our housemate was my rock, he listened while I cried and ranted, tried to mediate between my ex and I to improve things and eventually after a lot of heartbreak told me I deserved more than being a door mat (and joking suggested he could do better!)
I dumped my ex and decided that the housemate was more than just a friend, so we decided to give it a go ..... 2 year later we are engaged, trying for our 1st and I can honestly say I have never ever been happier and more secure.
He has rebuilt my very damaged confidence and self esteem, mad me realise being 'me' is something to be proud of not ashamed and generally treated me like a princess from day 1. We share the same dreams and aspirations and he's my best buddy.

Sometimes the right person just turns up in your life and I was so lucky to find my soul mate living under my roof!

I met my OH at work..he was my supervisor in a restaurant...

I was with my ex at the time but was unhappy...and he wouldnt leave or accept i didnt wanna be with him anymore...

I text my now hubby with "wanna be my shag-bud?"

It was a week before we got together properly after that text...
