Grrr... i hate it when they say this i think its that too people now HAVE to get really good grades they cannot get easier in things like science as they have obviously changed. Also teaching has gotten better, they just seem to but a downer on all the hard work that everyone has done

Well done on your photography grade, that's really good. You should be proud of yourself. I agree that teaching is much better, they know what you need to do to get good grades. I took my A Levels 12 years ago and worked my Ass off and got 3 D's even then they were saying they were getting easier. Be proud of what you achieved. What are you planning on doing next? Some kind of photography job?

I'm back at college next year doing textiles media and art, and then in a couple of years off to university, doing photography and then hopefully start a career in it, but god knows what too do haha

They say this every year - I think be proud of your B as its a fantastic grade (and in photography I imagine you have to be talented as well as studying for it). Good luck with everything x

They do say it every year and it really pisses me off. Because of all the nonsensical league tabling of schools it's all about tests tests tests. So teachers have honed in on how to teach to the test and that's what kids want so they get good grades. It's a self fulfilling prophecy. I don't believe they are getting easier (I'm a trainee teacher). I believe teaching is improving all the time as we learn more and implement new techniques about learning styles. I think the teaching is sadly limited to the tightest curriculum so that pupils get the best results they can which doesn't mean the most interesting or informative education, but it doesn't mean it's easier.

Well done on your exams! F*** the media hype!
