I'm Currently Feeling: | Lost my last cat yesterday (sad) Hi,
Just wanted to write this down somewhere cos feeling a bit upset. My mum had have my old cat put down last night.
I had two cats when I was 15yrs old and at home, as company, as my sister had left for Uni and Mum worked full time. They were my babies and unfortunately we lost the little boy two years ago to tumours and he was so ill it broke my heart. Mum phoned me last week to say his sister was showing sign of kidney failure and was taking her to the vet. They gave her some jabs and she perked up for a couple of days, but yesterday Mum said she took a turn for the worse and she was going to the vets again. Unfortunately my baby didn't come home again!
Feel so silly but I'm sat here with tears streaming down my face. I know that she had an amazing 18yrs (which is bloomin good for a cat), but it's still so sad, and I'm dreading going over to Mum's and not have her meowing at the door before your key in, and then rubbing up my legs leaving her hair everywhere, and then jumping on my lap for a good ole cuddle!
It's amazing how attached you get isn't it. I'm really going to miss her, but I'm now worried about my Mum, because she's on her own and the cats kept her company. I'm not sure if she's going to want another one, well definitely not yet.
Sorry just wanted to have a moan and a cry. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I feel really sad for you. It is always terrible when you lose a pet especially one you've had for 18 years. It is like losing a member of the family. I always get ever so upset when my hamsters die after 2 years, let alone how i would feel after 18 years.
She had a good long life and it sounds like she was a wonderful friendly cat.
Sending you lots of hugs |

I'm Currently Feeling: | BIG to you...
Its heart breaking when a pet passes........especially when they have been part of the family for so long.
There are no words to explain the love and bond we share with our "fur"babies.
My heart aches for you right now......so sorry. |
