Well...went in today for meeting at 10.30. Was told my job no longer exisits, well it does exisit - important things will be done by PA's and the not so important stuff won't get done!!

Have been offered VR (which isn't much at all!!) & option for the bank to help me find a job in a diff dept. Around 400 people have lost their jobs and will all be wanting a job within the bank too!!!

I'm a bit muddled at what to do now. It would be a bit scary if this month was my month. Good but scary as might not have a job to pay my mat pay !!!

oh no
i got made redundant in december and got my BFP in january = no mat pay!!! then oh lost his April - well was put on 3 months garden leave and was 'officially' made redundant July - its sh*t but he's got another job now and we've got our little princess to look forward to even if it is gonna be soooo tough for the forseable!!

careful they don't offer to help you find a different dept with a pay cut!!!!!!

The upside..you may find an even better one!
