I cant geto onto amazon as it says page cannot be displyed etc etc.. also im on this certain site and going to pay for a subscription but when it says it will redirect me to the paypal bit it goes staright to page cannot be displayed..
Which i know this works for everyone else as my friend works for the website and no one has had any problems.

This has always happned and hasnt just started , ive never actaully got onto it nor how to fix the problem?

Does anybody know whats going on?

I just checked, I was able to get on Amazon. Try it again. If it still doesn't work, try re-booting your computer.

done all that , someone said it could be the actaul explorer or a certain setting that disables me from going on there? Cos its a new comp and even the first time we used it we couldnt get onto the amazon.


Its not the actaul sites its something on my end?

Have you tried using another browser, such as Firefox or resetting to the defaults within IE?

That's a good idea! Download Firefox, it's way better than IE. IE is sh*t.

Try this...

Go to Start, Run, enter "regsvr32 softpub.dll" (but without the quotation marks... and wait for the OK message..
try rebooting your computer... and try again.

i did this but its still doesnt work? It works perfectly on every website just not paypal amazon tbh it does sound like a secure problem. I did play around with the settings yesterday and i did something to the internet and it wouldnt work at all. Had to wait till OH came home to put it back on

I really dont know how to fix it! I did try firefox and its still the same..

Could it be a firewall setting? How about redoing all your firewall settings?
