I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi, Yes this is an IE, sorry Internet Explorer issue. I have seen this many times, I am an IT engineer. It seems secure sites won't display. The easiest thing to do is to reinstall Internet Explorer from the Microsoft website. This should resolve the issue or use system restore and restore you PC back to a day when it worked. To do this
Assuming your using XP.
Start, Help and Support, Select 'Restore my computer to an earlier time' click next, the select the date you want to go back to from the calendar. Only the saved restore points will allow you to click on them. Your PC will reboot and see if that works.
If not as others have said go to firefox's website and download their browser it is much better than IE.
Hope this helps. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I don't know what else to suggest. It is difficult to try and diagnose problems remotely. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Downloading Firefox as your new browser should be best bet because it would be on default settings. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | On Internet Explorer 7 - click Tools > Internet Options -> Advance -> Reset at the bottom - it will reset your settings (but not your favorites)... then click Connections - lan settings at the bottom and make sure everything is Unticked.
This cures most problems (and has fixed the problem you describe in the past).
Best wishes,
Mr Bum

I'm Currently Feeling: | if it won't work in two seperate browsers, it's gotta be something in your firewall...
i'd go over all the settings, and if everything seems okay, i'd maybe call whoever makes the firewall, and have them help you. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hate to say it but it could be a windows issue. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Truely is - one thing to do is press the windows logo key and whilst holding it down press R quickly to open up the run command. then type in: "c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" and press enter. Select Notepad to open it and make sure it has a load of stuff marked in hashes - nothing else bar:
127.0.0.1 localhost
if this is ok, I would then check your firewall as others suggest. |
