Opionion Please

Today I discovered this buggy http://www.babybirds.co.uk/PramsMutsy.php

And I love it, you but the frame, then the seat option you like, so I can get the duo seat, then when noah grows out of it get the single seat, or even better get the play seat, so its a buggy/gokart hybrid!

Im just wary of buying an expensive buggy which I cant go and look at (nowhere stocks these near me) and if Idont like it, it will cost me £20 to return it.

What do you think?

You can get the duo seat, where the back seat reclines almost flat, but you can get a muff/cocoon thing with an insert which makes it completly flat for use with a newborn.

The carry cot or pram bits you can only use if you have one child in. But the advantage with this buggy is. I can sell my existing single seater, and keep adapting this one, as noah gets to old, so its just a single seater, and then if I have another baby I can turn it into a pram etc.

The wheelbase is the same as a single, so should be pretty good on curbs etc. And compared to most tandems the back seat is raised quite a lot to allow child behind to see out.

They wheels are relaly weird, its rear wheel drive and has an axis in the middle of the buggy. Its recomeded to spend another £20 to get the little wheels to go on the front to reduce the turning circle for use around the city, (this will also make it lighter in weight and smaller when collapsed to.

Well it appears a no-no after all, I found some reviews which critisized it for the same reason as I disliked the Phil &Ted, cause the hoods are too low for children over 18months, as they are to low, and the seats to small.

So the Powertwin it is!

Unfortunatly KX a twin is just not at all practicle for us. None of them are narrow enough to fit through my front door, which would mean having to leave th children nside while I take it outside and assemble it, then come back in to get them and put them in, which especially if raining is just going to be a nightmare. Plus Norwich has a lot of narrow streets, especially the route Iwalk into the city, and a twin just wouldnt fit on the pavement! I sometimes have to old one half of my single buggy in the air cause it wont fit on. And dont even get me started on shop isles!
