I was famous for my mud pies and mud tunnels.

I don't think my mum ever got to put flowers in that patch!

Ahhhh the memories x
We used to play on the road aswell (we lived at the end of a street, they've now built more houses at the top) we climbed trees & when they were building the houses we climbed around the scaffolding & played hide & seek
we picked blackberries in the field & stayed out till the street lights came on x
It is sad that our children wont be able to live like this x

I was an 80's baby. I loved it!!! I remember being able to play outside carefree. Mum would just tell us to be in by a certain time and we were. God, nowadays you see 12 year olds in full make up, mini skirt and a top that leaves little to the imagination. When i was 12, i was still wearing tracksuits, ski-pants and the most vile printed fleeces!! And i had a HUGE coconut fringe! They were great times and i miss them. Those were the days i first met my OH. We used to play Olympics and climb trees and kiss while rolling around in the corn fields.

I'm getting all emotional thinking about it!!! ha!

Great thread by the way!!
