I'm Currently Feeling: | I agree.....but i also hate how old people blame everything on younger people these days. I went to liverpool 2 weeks ago and I lost count the amount of times i was bashed by old ladies. My sis was going mad anyway went for the train and there were no seats. My sis was going mad again because im obviously preg and everyone was just looking and turning there heads. So a young lad (In trackies my i point out) got up and said i could have his seat....I was amazed yet a lady in her 70's tutted at me!! I could have hit her.....anyway point is......Its not just the younger generation makiing today worse....its the bloody older too!! lol rant over

I'm Currently Feeling: | i agree Ema!! My nan was going on about these so called "hoodies" and how they are really intimidating!!!
The majority of young kids mean no harm at all!! But they are all perceived to be criminals!!
A classic statement that goes round the police station "It seems to be a crime to be young these days" |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yip....There alot of trackie wearing kids around here. (my OH used to be one of them bk in the day) and i get better treatment off them than i do older people. They seem to stare and tut.....like its a crime to be a young mum! ARGH! i really cant stand them....really they wind me up. My lil bro (whose 9) wore a hoodie with me when we went into town....An old lady said "look at that, there everywhere these days them hoodie kids" my lil bro (bless him) turned to me and said loudly "Em, whats wrong with it, its only a jumper???"
Out of the mouths of babes.
I just laughed and thought at least someone even tho he's only 9 see's sense!! xXx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | This is sooooo true!
For some reason childhood is today unecesserily cut short.
And sometimes simple is simply better! I think things that are supposed to make your life easier are actually making it complicated! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I was snatched while on holiday in Spain when I was four. I've mentioned it a couple of times to people who tend to make the comments of 'you'd never have got that 20 years ago.' Yes, you did. It happened, and it happened to me (I was found very quickly before the person had a chance to take me off the resort) the only thing is you didn't hear about it. Nowadays if something like that happened you'd have parents running to the press to make other parents aware that suchandsuch resort isn't safe and you shouldn't let you're children out of arm's length and how terrible it is these days. Bad things will happen regardless of how much cotton wool you wrap your child in. |
