| Wish I'd said something.. Yesterday I came home on the bus after having stayed at my friend's house for the night with Ryan.. so I had Ryan in the pushchair, his changing bag, a small travel cot and my bags. It's one of the buses where you can wheel the pushchair on and there's a designated area where it can go. There was a blind man sat near me, and when he got off I made sure everything was out of his way, and he was really nice about it. HOWEVER, there was a woman sat near him who quite literally shouted out "They should be *made* to put those pushchairs down", giving us really dirty looks. Firstly, WHY does it even effect her? We weren't in anyone's way, we weren't offending anyone or causing any harm. Secondly, how the hell does she think I'm going to manage to hold my baby and all of my bags, fold down (and then up) a pushchair and then get it on (and off) the bus on my own. And why should I when the bus is specifically so I can take the pushchair on as it is?? The other woman she was referring to was a lady with a double pushchair (one with a 1 year old in the top and a newborn in the bottom). Really wish I hadn't bit my tongue. x |

| Yes, it's my regular route, but hopefully I won't have the displeasure of sharing the bus with her again! It won't be long until I'm driving hopefully, and then I can get annoyed at other drivers instead. It just annoys me when people aim snide comments at you when they're not even talking to you. x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Stupid woman - I once was on a bus and a young lad at the bus stop started shouting at me because he couldn't get his buggy on because I had my double on there - I told him I was ever so sorry and (in the most sarcastic voice I could) told him he was right I was extremely selfish for having twins and that next time I would only have one baby!!!! Some people are so stupid - I think the old people who moan are just jealous because they didn't have the luxury when they had small children!!!!! Don't let her get to you |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i never say anything to people either, iv had all sorts of comments aimed at me and i always wish id said something but i never do, thing is you wont change these peoples thinking and it will just cause more trouble i find, so i keep my mouth shut and head down lol! i should say something but i never do which is silly because it just makes you feel guilty of something when youve done nothing wrong, lets hope u dont have to bump into her again xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | What a cow, id have just turned and laughed at her, that would have pee'd her off.
I had a similar experiance just after i had my little lad, i was going to register him, had just had a section, had my then 4 year old daughter with me and the driver said i had to fold the pram down, it was a boiling hot day, i couldent lift the pram on the bus and i ended up bursting into tears at the door of the bus, i felt like a right idiot, and then to top it off, i buzzed for the bus to stop and he carried on, so shouted down the bus, ive just buzzed i want to get off, the driver had the cheek to have a go at me, so i turned and called him a male shovenistic t**t. i felt so much better for that.
But its offical, i HATE buses!!!! |
