..blummin heating and hot water packed in today!

I suspect they've been off all day cos I thought the house felt cold, but I only twigged about an hour ago when I went to get a shower.

So I rang him and apparently the reset button needed pressing on the boiler... which is in the loft... which I can't get to because there are no loft ladders only a set of steps.

Went round to neighbours and he wasn't in. Rang one of OH's mates in the end and he very kindly abandoned his pint to come and sort it out. Hooray!

I have no idea with stuff like this but I bet you have changed a light bulb~? dave wont let me do even that.

He is very,thats a man's job and here is your job (him grass cutting me ironing) I wouild love to know all this stuff,coz it is guaranteed as soon as they go away sod's law kicks in

It was only cos OH said "absolutely, definitely NO climbing in the loft" that I didn't try. Would've been dangerous/impossible though without proper ladders.
