Sooo my mother and sister are in the process of planning my baby shower

I've been ordered to post and get good baby shower ideas. Here is what they (we) have come up with so far(not doing all of these, just ideas):

Dirty Diaper Game (Guess the melted chocolate)

Name Revealing (List of names I've thrown out there and whoever guesses what I'm really calling the baby wins...so I'm revealing my name at the baby shower)

Motherly Advice(everyone writes out the best advice they can give me for being new mom)

Personal Baby Blanket (everyone writes a message for the baby on a baby blanket)

Pregnant for a day (I am SO doing this one)- People put a blown up balloon under their shirt and have to do every day activities like tying their shoes, getting up out of a chair, getting up off the floor...whoever keeps their balloon in tact wins


I don't really want to play pen and paper games, I'd rather interactive ones.

Also, what are some nice things you've seen at baby showers recently? Or good ideas (not necess. games) Decorations, favour ideas, etc

did you try baby bingo or even a game that they cut a piece of yarn to see
if it goes around your belly to see who is the closes You can google it and get alot of great ideas for the shower Many blessing to you and yours

There are a ton of baby shower ideas on the internet. This is the only time we will allow you to google during pregnancy.

hahah I've been a google maniac. got a paper due tomorrow, but am I writing it? Nope, I'm looking up baby shower cakes

Umm fill in the blank nursery rhymes...

Guess the baby food, you taste several different baby foods and write what you think they are. The winnner is the one who has the most.

I want to have a picture of my baby with a large frame mat for people to sign and I will frame it and put it in the baby's nursery for awhile.

As for gifts...

I saw lots of clothing, washable diapers, disposable ones, terry cloth washcloth sets, soaps and powders, a few gifts for mom, including a nice liquer, money, gift certificates or gift cards.

I expecting alot of clothing which is why I havent bought any.
