I'm Currently Feeling: | We'd heard of this before the children were born. DH didn't get me anything. I didn't want him to. There was enough on carrying the children out of hospital without some huge bouquet of flowers too.
I wouldn't go for a ring as fingers tend to swell particularly in the last few weeks and take a few weeks after to go back down. It'd be gutting to get a ring and then be thinking "I'm sooo fat" because you couldn't get it on your finger.
We were saving like crazy as the children were born so that I could take time off work so I'd have been cross if he'd blown a load of that on jewelry.
Aren't we the practical pair! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | All the way thru my pregnancy my OH kept saying 'I'm going to get you something lovely' when I was in labour in the Hospital he was stroking my head and said 'After all this I think you'll more than deserve a spa day'
I was like ........I'm still waiting now!!
I got nothing!! I suppose if he had of got me something I probably would have shouted at him for wasting money!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | There are sites that sell mommy and baby pearl bracelets. I gave one each to my daughter and son, then had one made with both of their names on it. http://www.terrabelladesigns.com/store/Default.asp
This company does nice work and was a supplier of mine when I had an online baby store. I personally had them make my bracelets and they are lovely. |
