| I'm working on this myself this summer. I just got life insurance, etc sorted out and that's our next step. I'll let you know what I find out, but the things I think you are supposed to figure out are:
1) legal guardian - who do you want to raise your kids should you and your spouse both pass away
2) inheritance - who, how much, when do they get it, do you need to appoint a trustee to watch over it, etc
3) funeral arrangements/wishes - what would you like, how will it be paid for, etd
Totally morbid and icky to think about, but much better than having the state to decide what to do with your kids if you're gone. |
