Looking for a table

When we move house, there won't be room for my beautiful solid dining room table that cost me over £1000 and is currently hanging from the in-laws garage ceiling! So I'm looking for a space-saving table and chairs.

Many moons ago when Kayleigh was a baby, I had a black ash rectangle butterfly table that was enormous when put up. It came with 6 folding chairs, but they were great as they were metal and had padded seats and backs. It didn't look like much, but was great when I had a linen tablecloth on it, and the chairs were really comfie. I only ditched it when I bought my new table 5 years ago.

It would be ideal for the new house, but all I can find are these sort which are oval:

Ideally I would like pine, and ideally rectangle, and ideally 6 chairs (don't want much do I ??!! ), but the only rectangle ones I can find are these from Ebay and they are miles away from me. If I could find one of these closer to home, or even find out where they are from, I could buy a couple of extra chairs to make up to the 6 I want.

Any world-class surfers out there that can help me find one?????

I looked on ebay - Enter your postcode an up to 25 miles from that postcode!

You find some people will deliver to you as well.

I got one at a bargain the other day & I've not even moved yet

I saw yours Wobbles - that's what prompted me to ask!!!

Cat - I'm not far from the Nottingham one and will be going there at some point for odds and ends. I did look on the Ikea site but couldn't see one.

Ooo, that's lovely! Just what I'm looking for if the chairs would fit inside!!!

Seriously though, it is a lovely table, just perfect. Ideally I would want one exactly like this, but with the chairs that fold down and fit inside. But as it really doesn't seem like there is anything like that around, this one will be the one!

Thanks Cat.
