xx | Having kids at a young age is controversial. A lot of people say not to, and that you would be stupid to etc. It doesn't depend on your age, it depends on your level of maturity, and your ability to provide for your baby/children. I was 19 when we started TTC. We made sure we would have money to raise a child, and made sure we were ready and all, even discussed it with his parents, who supported the idea. When people say that you are supposed to enjoy your early 20's without kids and getting married, they are basing it on the majority of people in that age range, with the assum,ption that you will need time to "go wild" and explore the world. My thoughts on that are that now I can do all that with my child, and in my opinion it will be a lot more enjoyable with my OH and DD. BOTTOM LINE- Do what makes you and your OH happy, because you can't live your life making everyone else happy.  |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | I think there is never a right time to have a baby, but if you've thought about it enough then its your decision. I'm def going to have another one and prob before i've finished uni. Guess i'm quite lucky cos nobody has said anything to me yet, but not sure i'll care what they say. You dont want to have a mahoooosive gap inbetween children anyway.  |
