It is entirely your decision. As an older mom (I will be 40 in September) who has a career all set and my education done with, I am more saddened that I could not have my son earlier. I know I will most likely not live long enough to see my grandchildren grow up, but Davey is 7 years younger and will at least be around for them.

It is good to have a steady income and get the things you want done in life, but nothing can replace lost time with your children. However, I do agree you need to be stable in order to offer the best you can.

I don't think it matters how far apart your children are. My cousin's children are all 7 years apart from one another. The most important thing is that you have another child when YOU are ready. Waiting to establish yourself in your career is wonderful, not only for you but for your child as well.

Hey i am 19 pregnant, i have a house, savings etc and also fella got a highly paid job. we talked and are planning another baby when our little girl will be just starting school.
I didn't think it matters your age i mean if you have a baby at a young age your going to have more at a young age! just people set in their ways! (not believing times have changed!!!) i say go for it.
