ok... deep breath

we put in an offer for a house back in September, the completion date was in december but we were told that the sellers solicitors werent ready. the seller knew i was pregnant and as the house was empty she let us move in anyway. so we have been living there since december and the house still isnt finalised.....

are you ready?

today we got a phone call from our solicitors to say that our sellers had not been paying there mortgage for the past 7 months and they were in debt with solicitors fees, estate agent fees and a £20,000 loan.

therefor..........

they are going to repossess the house.

next week.

so we are totally screwed. we have spent most of today packing up the house. we have hired a storage container to put our furniture in and we've had to move back in with colins parents. tomorrow will be spent getting the rest of the furniture out of the house before giving the seller back her key.

whilst we were packing up the seller drove past the house and stopped when she saw us taking out furniture. we explained what our solicitor had told us and she told us that it wasnt true and that it was all lies.... hmmm... i dont think so!!!!

so im in total need of a fag (ive quit) and a bottle of vodka (i cant drink on my happy pills)

OMG Terrie, I imagine with all you're going thruh anyway this is the last thing youo need. If you need to get away you are always welcome to come visit. Where do you stand with the house now? Will you still be ablew to buy it?

well if the bank repossess the house it will go to auction and if we want it we will have to bid for it. to be honest i dont know what we will do!!!

If it goes to auction I don't think you can have a mortgage? Or I may be wrong?

you can have a mortgage if you bid but you have to already have one in place. we do have that but i just cant be bothered with it anymore. i think we'll move somewhere else. ive been looking on rightmove.co.uk but nothing so far!
