I have to get this off my chest

Yesterday we had family down. 1st time in 16 years as we had a big family row!!

Well a few of us went into town & onto a club. I had 2 small glasses of rose spritzer & one teeny tiny glass of cherry lambrini. I stayed at the club till 4am

I had a nice night but felt people were looking at me & judging me 4 being out & pregnant. Also I think I went over board on the drinking

I just feel so guility

2 small spritzers is less than 2 units and I'm guessing lambrini is uniformally weak in the alcohol so you probably had less than 3 units. Just don't have any more for a while! And get some good rest to make up for the late night. I'm sure everything will be fine with LO.

I'm sure LO is fine & I know in reality it's not alot of alcohol at all. It's not like i'm in the early stages of pregnancy either!

A few friends have made some catty comments aswell today

I know people say you should be resting but in general i'm feeling quite energetic & it was nice being out. All I seem to do these days is bloody rest & for once I felt normal again lol

Don't feel guilty! It's good to get out - doesn't do you any good to sit around all day if you can still move! I was going to say that people who were looking probably had no idea how much you'd had to drink, and assume that you're out clubbing and getting drunk every night, but I'm not sure why your friends are saying anything??! One night out isn't going to do Anais any harm, and you didn't drink much at all - don't worry x

I agree, i'm sure people would of looked at me & though omg what a disgrace but I know what I had & really thinking on it, it was hardly anything!! I did make a huuuge point outta drinking out of my water bottle though lol!!

I think my friends were just being twats for the sake of it 2b honest lol!!

Omg my ex has heard from a mutual friend that I was out last night

He just emailed me saying that im ' a digusting, drunken s**g ' ' you shouldn't be out in your condition I suppose you'd do anything to get on your back again! '

I'll be frank, I don't personally agree with drinking during pregnancy however you had 3 units of alcohol, felt fine and no doubt baby has been kicking you loads all day and everything is fine. I'm glad that you had a good night honey. No one can make that decision other than you, and it's not like you were pissed!

I felt shitty admitting I had a few drinks to be honest but I won't lie about it!! And as you said I was far from pissed. God I can't even remember what that feels like

God bubs has been doing cartwheels all day. I know she's fine & as I said before i'm well out of the 1st trimester

Hun, the last person you should let annoy you is your ex.
Ok - so you had a couple of 'drinks' which is reality were not much. You feel guilty enough to not do it again as it is (which I think is punishment enough)

I used to get so sick of people trying to tell me how to lead my life and how to wipe my arse, I just don't pay attention any more.

You are a responsible young woman who is going to be a great single mum so don't let anyone tell you otherwise (as without a doubt people will try when baby is here)! The best of us do things we are not proud of, but as long as we learn it's alright.
