HELP...


hello there.

does anybody know if you can eat cheesecake cake when pregnant i am craving it loads.

help...

Proper cheesecake is made with mascarpone cheese and that's safe to eat (thank you God). Go for it!

oh god i hope so!! ive turned it into a food group all of its own since i got to about 20wks!!! please dont tell me now theres even more we arent supposed to eat!!!!!

Thank god for that i was told that you cant have it cuz of the soft cheese in it and the egg yolks. because cheesecake is not cooked..

but then other people have said its fine so very confused i will have to ask my midwife but dont see her for another 9 weeks..not sure i can wait that long.

I'd just check the ingredients list. It's only uncooked egg that you need to be wary of. I can't think of any recipes for cheesecake where it uses uncooked egg.

Better still... make your own! That way you know exactly what's in it.
