We had an invitation in the post to a fancy dree party next month. They are friends of OH and Idont really know them very well. Being fancy dress I have no idea what I would wear with a great big bump (the theme is fantasy and fiction) And its in a pub, so will be smokey and prob have somewhat limited seating. Really dont know if I should go, but feel bad that OH prob wont go without me, cause he doesnt really know many of their friends so would feel a bit on his own.

somoen posted a thing for fancy dress for pregnant people looked really good!! infact if im not mistaken im sure it was beanie

aww cat not sure if i would go either being in fancy dress on your feet in a pub with a big bump wouldnt be ideal

maybe you could 'pop in ' not in fancy dress just to show your faces?

Thing is we will also have to sort out childcare which is a pain if only going to poke head round the door for an hour or 2.

I have told OH to go and I think he will, although knowing him he will not get round to sorting out a costume and then not bother!

I just dont fancy the hastle of sorting out a costume, to go to a party where I will have painfull hips and a roomfull of smoke, get someone to watch Noah, to celebrate someones birthday who Iwouldnt recognise if I bumped into her in the street!
