i am very sorry to hear about your cat. i really know how you are feeling. i lost my darling cat (Scampi) on May 8th and i am still heartbroken.

i hope he pulls through and will be back at home with you soon.

were still waiting for the results from the blood test. hes still in intensive care on a drip. the vets saying its most probably heart disease and he isnt going to recover, or at least not sure if its in the latter stages of it where we may have to shortly make the decision whether to put him to sleep.



i want my boy home, this is too much to handle anymore, he looks normal and happy. my poor boy

the vet said she would call around midday hopefully with the results.

either way if they dont come back today, we will be going to see him about 3 this afty.

i just really really need him home. if these are the last few days with him, i dont want them spent in a cage in the vets. he deserves so much more than that.

the vet just called and the results we were dreading came back negative...however the fluid she drained from his lungs are being tested and will be back wednesday that will either back up todays negative and/or tell us for sure what it is.

she now thinks its either heart disease or cancer. were off to see him in a few minutes. i cant bear to see the look in his eyes

i love him so much, this is just not fair. hes such a good boy.

i hope you are okay and that you have seen your cat.

i don't know what to say to you other than i know what you are going through. my cat scampi had a massive stroke at 22 (we had him for under just under 10 years) and i still have a huge void in my heart. i loved him dearly.

i had the choice to take him home or put him to sleep. the vet said at max he had 48 hours left and if i took him home his death would be very slowly. so we choose to put him to sleep. me and hubby stayed in the room with him and it was awful. i just told him how much he meant to us and i was sorry. i realise now i did the right thing but at the time it is truly heartbreaking.

i pray your cat will be okay and you have some time left with him.
