Hey gang,

Its our 5 year anniversary today - we both kinda forgot that it was today, until I looked in my diary!

We did think about going to our the chain of restaurant where we had our first date - but the nearest one is about 35 mins away, I'm feeling quite tired today , we also have OH kids today (so can't be out too late), and I've already got the chicken out of the freezer for tea tonight.

So any ideas of what I can do to say how much I love him? Not sure about getting card or present (as again quite tired to go to shops and have got to pick kids up from school at 3pm), and also OH is at work all day so don't want him to feel bad that he won't have time to get me anything.

I just want to show him that I still love him very very much even moreso after 5 years!

you could always write a letter saying what you feel. You don't have to go anywhere for that and it is heart felt.

That is a good suggestion - but the thought of that is making me well up - I'd be a blubbering hormonal mess if I started writing a letter - lol!

Well the material that represents 5 years is wood......Maybe make him a card and put a little bit of wood inside which represents your 5 years together XXXX
