| Hey!
Not sure what to suggest but for our 1st anniversary my hubby booked a fab thai restaurant overlooking the thames so you could find a really nice restaurant that you both have always fancied going to.
Hubby then surprised me the next day as like you ours fell on a sunday and he whisked me away to a hotel spa for a day and night was bliss! so you could do that or go onto last minute and see what deals they have on for a show and a night in london as they do good packages.
What do you want to do? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've been thinking about this too. My 1st wedding anniversary is on 3rd september. I am completely stuck. Hubby doesn't think i'll be able to leave bubs to go out some where Guess we will have to wait and see. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I recently had my 1st wedding anniversary in June, and as everyone says the 1st anniversary is a paper one, I followed that theme. My mum sent us some money, so we went out for a meal with that, and then on another day we just went for a picnic together - I bought some paper plates and stuck pictures of our wedding day on them and then put clear foil on top, so we could eat off them!! I was clutching at straws a bit really, as being pregnant there wasn´t really much else for me to do. DH got me a voucher for me to go and have a pedicure, which was great as getting anywhere near my feet is a military manouver!
As you´ll have your LO with you by then, why not just do a family picnic together? | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I can only really tell you what we did:
We went for a couple of nights in London staying in an amazing hotel (Hazlitt's) paid for courtesy of stupid rich parents who bought a Wii from us for a ridiculous sum of money the Christmas before! lol We went to see Porgy and Bess (which was amazing!) and ate nice food and did a walking tour (of our own design) round the old bits of London (we're into that sort of thing).
I guess just do something special that you both enjoy. Do it now though, we did nothing at all for our 2nd this year! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | For our first anniversary (also celebrated this year) we went camping. We stayed at a beautiful campground in the States and went swimming and hiking. On our way home we did some site seeing and shopping.
Might not be your style at this point in your pregnancy though?
You could have a picnic lunch where you were proposed to? Do something that you both enjoy? The sky's the limit. |
