| Thing is you cant have smoking areas in public places cause even though it can protect other customers who dont want to breath in smoke it doesnt protect staff. I worked in a pub, because the only way for me to get a jo that fitted in with OHs working hours was to do evening work, which is basically bar work or waitressing, and you need to be able to clean tables, collect glasses etc. When I became pregnant it was a real issue for me, and I hated the fact that I had to either passivly smoke and risk harming my baby, or give up work and struggle with money. |
