Best gig or Concert

Who is the best band/singer/artist you have seen in gig or concert??

My top 5 are

Cold play - fooking amazing!! cant describe just how good they are live.

Greenday - such energy on stage! Billy Joe sqirted me with his water gun

The Darkness - Justin is a brilliant front man, there stage show and affects are really worth paying to see!

The Kooks - such a chilled out relaxed show, classsic sing along gig

The Prodigy - never thought id say it, but at the festival this year they were buzzing!

Going to see The Automatic in October, but i doubt very much they will even get on my top ten, let alone top 5 list lol

Only been to one concert - Bryan Adams 18 til I die Tour in 1996.

Went to Wembley Stadium!

Great concert.

Also been to Radio 1 roadshow events which are usually good.

Would like to go see Nickleback or the Barenaked Ladies if they tour.

I saw Nickleback when they supported Bon Jovi this summer. They were really good.

My best concert was Billy Joel when I saw him this July. You probably thyink I'm some kind of old fart now but I was brought up on his music. OH was also subjected to it as a boy and now we share a love of Billy.

I also went to see Take That this summer and they were good too!!

LOL

Duran Duran were Robbie's support act in Melbourne...
They were really good!
They did a full set too!

And Evanescance (sp) in Adelaide 2003 too, they were pretty good, and the backing act were a canadian band, and they were ace!!

Saw Simon & Garfunkel with my mum the other year, was amazed at how good they were!! Really enjoyed it!!

Ooooh...

1. Robbie at Knebworth (plus Moby at the same gig)/Robbie this Saturday
2. U2 - Vertigo tour
3. Faithless in Edinburgh Princes Square
4. Jamirouquai
5. REM at Loch Lomond

I saw Duran Duran first time round at Queens Hall in Leeds. I was 14 (I think) and we queued all day too scared to leave and go get something to eat. I passed out.

I love live music. We must spend a fortune on tickets. Didn't used to go when I was hitched cos ex was a real stick in the mud about stuff like that. Now am free and single again, OH and I go all the time.

Off to see Scissor Sisters in November next.

I think we need to hear the embarassing ones..... Confess all
