I'm Currently Feeling:  |  I HATE estate agents!!
Im getting reaaaaally annoyed with this now ...
As some of you know im in the process of moving house, well im just about in my new one!! Went to give the old place a good clean yesterday as you do with rented properties ... the estate agent rang today and said its not clean enough as the light swtiches and plug sockets need wiping down.
Fair enough IF ....
The place i received wasnt a complete sh**hole ... the toilets were all brown with limescale in the bottom where they obv hadnt been cleaned for ages, the oven was filthy and generally the place was just dirty. If im expected to clean my old place to that standard then surely its only fair i receive my new place in the same condition.
So not only have i had 2 wait 2 weeks for them to sort my new place out, i have to clean it my bloody self!!
Do you think i should say something to the estate agent when i go get the keys tonight? I really dont think its fair!!  |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Definately say something. They can't expect a clean property without giving one. That's wrong. You want to be made feel welcome, not having to scrub dirt up, aswell as move the furniture in, etc. What a load of tripe they are. Have a go hol, I would. |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | yes def say something, when i moved out of rented when we bought one, our estate agent refused to give our £500 bond back as we had vacumed behind the bed, my oh went mad as when we moved in it stank of dog... they gave it us back a few days later.
def say something if you've had your bond refused. |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | id say something, besides im sure ive read somewhere preganant women arnt supposed to clean ovens.. something to to with the fumes of the cleaning fluid!!!
(or even if ive dreamt it, use it, your pregnant you neeeeed a clean place to move into to concentrate on nurturing your LO  )

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Oh tell them where to shove it! You shouldn't have to clean when you move into your new place. If I had to clean when I moved into my apartments I'd have thrown the keys back at them and demanded my damage deposit back. |
